On this page
  1. Option 1: settings profile
  2. Option 2: by hand

Option 1: settings profile

  1. On your Mac, open your setup page and click Download settings.
  2. Open the downloaded file. macOS asks you to review it in System Settings.
  3. Open System Settings. On recent versions of macOS, go to General, then Device Management. On older versions, go to Privacy & Security, then Profiles.
  4. Double-click the profile and click Install. Enter your Mac password if asked, then your email password.

The profile holds only the server names and your address, never your password. macOS shows it as unsigned; that’s expected.

Option 2: by hand

  1. In Mail, choose Mail, then Add Account. Or go to Mail, then Settings, then Accounts and click +.
  2. Choose Other Mail Account, then Continue.
  3. Enter your name, full email address and password, then click Sign In.
  4. If Mail asks for more, enter: account type IMAP; incoming and outgoing mail server mail.trypatra.com; user name: your full email address.

All the settings are in Settings for any mail app.
