Turn it on

  1. In your admin console, open Settings and find Two-step sign-in.
  2. Enter your password and choose Set up.
  3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or 1Password, or type in the key.
  4. Save your backup codes somewhere safe. Each one works once.
  5. Enter the 6-digit code from the app, then choose Turn on.

Sign in with your password, then the code. On your own computer, tick Trust this device for 30 days.

Lost your phone?

Choose Lost your phone? Use a backup code, then set up two-step sign-in again on your new phone. No codes left? Write to hello@trypatra.com. We’ll confirm you own the account before we turn two-step sign-in off.

Turn it off

Go to Settings, find Two-step sign-in, enter your password, then choose Turn off.

Two-step sign-in protects the admin console. People sign in to webmail and mail apps with their password, so keep passwords strong and set a recovery email for everyone.
